Boosted Board V1 Battery Repair.
If you have a boosted V1 that is experiencing RLOD (Red Light Of Death) or charging a issues. We offer a solution. We rebuild you currently battery using 26650 replacement battery cells. All repairs come with a detailed report of repair and return shipping is included in the cost. You will have to box and cover shipping to us. If you are planning to mail your complete board there is an additional surcharge of cover the additional weight and shipping. This will be assessed separately and will need to be paid at the time your board it read to go back to you.  If you board is tested and any additional work is needed we will contact you.
Once received repairs take at least 14 days, this estimate is based on the average time but your time may vary based on number of batteries in the queue. You have the option to pickup and drop off if you are local. You are welcome to remove the battery and I’m sent it alone or sent the complete board.

We offer 2 repair options to fit your budget and wanted outcomes
Rebuild using refurbished cells- In this method the battery is broken down and individual cells are tested. Any cells that test below 85% capacity are discarded the remaining cells are cleaned cycle charged and shrink-wrapped, discarded cells are replaced with refurbished cells that match the capacity of the remaining "old cells". These cells are spot welded in series and reinstalled in your ordinal case. This means the anywhere from 1 to 12 of your cells are replaced. This offers you the most affordable option for getting your boosted board back on the road.
Brand New Cell Rebuild- In this option all of the battery cells are scrapped and replaced with brand new 26650 battery cells. These are genuine cells and will be A123 cells or something comparable. You Original case, BMS and charging port are reused. This is higher cost option but will revive you board back to like new battery and range performance.
** Please be aware that some customers will experience an increased gap between the battery and the board during battery reinstallation, to help close the gap we will install a foam gasket on the edge of your battery, you may also use caulking or other sealant to help as well. We are actively investing in R&D for other solutions and will continue to work with customers.
