    Basic information:
The first badges "Excellence in socialist competition People's Commissar Cermet (Наркомчермет)" were made of bronze at the Leningrad Mint (LMD) in 1939. In the same year, the first presentation of the badge took place. So, for example, in April 1939, Ivan Germanovich Mizerny received a badge with number 286 "for Stakhanov's work". In the summer of 1939, this award with the same universal wording "for Stakhanov's work" was awarded to Anastasia Yakovlevna Kulagina and Grigory Yakovlevich Slobodyanyuk, who were awarded badges with numbers 1014 and 1066.
