Documented Soviet Order of the Red Star #9264 to prominent figure
T3, small "mondvor" issue, manufactured in LMD in 1939, and only observed in the range of 9092-11254 numbers.
Serial Number: 9264. Good vintage condition, all original enamels, despite some residue, which is probably easy to remove.
Comes with original silver nut. Accompanied by 2 Order's Books, one for some of veteran's orders (because he had many more), and another solely for early medal "For Valiant Labor".
Awarded to professor (1938), doctor of technical sciences (1963), Hero of the Socialist Labor (1966), 2 times Stalin Prize winner (1946, 1953), Lenin Prize winner (1976) comrade Tsarevsky E.N.
This order of Red Star (for Finnish War) was bestowed upon comrade Tsarevsky in 1940 for his work on military distance measuring devices. During WWII, he was evacuated to Yoshkar-Ola, where he was a head of experimental factory, working on optics for tanks, different types of scopes, etc. For that work he was awarded with Stalin's prize in 1946. After the war, comrade Tsarevsky was sent to Germany, to famous Karl Zeiss factory, for knowledge transfer. Overall, he was awarded with Gold Star of Hero of the Socialist Labor, 4 (!!!) Orders of Lenin, this Order of Red Star, 2 Orders of Red Banner of Labor, Order of October Revolution, Order of Friendship among People, plus medals and prize medals. Extremely rare and highly collectable early Star to a key figure in Soviet military optics. More images available upon request.
