medal of "CHINESE SOVIET RUSSIAN FRIENDSHIP",
brass, enamel, 1953, Past Century, CHINE.
Medal of the People's Republic of China.
The original Chinese title is "Sino-Soviet
Medal Long Live Unbreakable Friendship".
This medal was awarded for labor exploits to
Soviet specialists and for personal courage
to Soviet military advisers who fought alongside
Chinese volunteers in Korea in 1950-1953.
At the same time, it was a commemorative
medal for awarding various Soviet delegations visiting the PRC,
and an anniversary award for
presentation on the occasion of solemn events.
