Soviet Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class, Very RARE, in the Original #'d Box!

Ok, Picked this up in Odessa (Ukraine) from an Aunt of a desk clerk from the hotel I was staying at during one of my trips to old Soviet Union and east bloc in the late ‘80’s and ‘90’s (Yes, you got to ask everyone you come in contact with!!).

Class, Very RARE, in the Original Issue Box!!

Class Silver background, awarded (Not “won”) normally for Personal Valor in Combat.
Established in May 1942, this serial number (2,852,913) would have probably been awarded very late or even post war, usually posthumously (which would account for its excellent condition) for events that took place during the war, or operations such as Afghanistan, etc.
In excellent Condition, silver and blood red enamel, nice Clear details, not all worn down.
Very nice example of a piece that looks like it was worn very little.
Sold several at shows (not doing any more), this and other listings are all that are left, actually kept nicer ones till later.
Just time to move on.
