Soviet USSR Order Of Patriotic War 2nd Class Medal Grouping Medal Collection WW2. Neat set of soviet USSR pins and items! The highlight of the group is a lower number Soviet Order of the Patriotic War it is number 1,966,426 so an early post war award(possibly awarded to a hungarian making it extra scarce). Also is the hungary communist excellent worker medal. And misc other hungarian and soviet badges and pins. These all were brought back in the 1980s from Communist Hungary. I bought them from a person who got them in 1990 from thier friend who visited family in hungary during the communist times. The person who acquired them was born in Budapest Hungary and who escaped the country to the USA in early WW2. She regularly returned to Hungary to visit her family much of whom lived there during WW2 and the communist regime. She brought back this collection of little relic of the time. It is not known if these were bought locally or from her relatives but they were brought back by her in the 1980s from Hungary!  Nice set of pins!
